Hello and Happy Sunday!
Today's Recipe is Teriyaki Ground Turkey over Jasmine Rice and when I tell ya'll it was absolutely amazing!! I usually like teriyaki inspired meals but I was quite impressed with how it turned out. It was extremely flavorful and it wasn't heavy like some meals can be. I scrolling through different websites to find an easy recipe that I could do with ground turkey and I found this recipe from Pinterest.
It's really easy and will only take roughly 35 mins to make. It's great by alone or could be paired with a nice side salad.
1. I started by chopping yellow onion, red bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, minced garlic, and carrots and sauteing them in a pan with olive oil.

2. I let them cook for about 5 minutes or so then I added in the ground turkey. I kept it on a medium heat and stirred it every minute or so.

3. In the mean time I started to prepare the sauce. The sauce called for 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 cup soy sauce, and 2 tbsp granulated sugar, and also garlic. Heat all of these ingredients together until the sugar dissolves and you have your sauce!
4. Once the sauce was thoroughly mixed, I poured it over the ground turkey and vegetables and gave it a good mixing.

5. Then I let everything simmer for about 20 minutes while the rice cooked.
6. After everything was done, this was the final product!

It is undoubtedly a recipe that I will be doing often. Next time I would add broccoli and maybe corn a long with the other veggies to beef it up a little bit.
If you decide to make it, let me know how it turn out for you and what you think about it! (:
This was absolutely delicious. It had such a great infusion of flavor.
